This is a beautiful ring featuring an approximately 1.2 carat natural blue-gray sapphire. It is flanked by 2 pear-cut white sapphires that total approximately 0.25 carat. It is a classic solitaire design set in solid 14K white gold. The stamp is partially visible as well as the original maker’s mark (also partially visible). Based on the gray and teal undertones of this sapphire and the clarity of this stone, I believe that this may be a Montana sapphire, but I do not know for sure where it was mined.
This ring will stand out due to its unique sapphire color and the depth of the feature stone. If you look at the side profile, the depth of the cut is much taller than a typical oval gemstone would be and really bring lots of light into those unique colors. There is a small chip along the edge of the girdle that is visible under magnification. It certainly does not affect the wear and magnificence of this piece. Don’t miss out on this one!
