This stunning ring is made from a 1996 American Gold Eagle Coin. The coin is 22K and is a 1/10 oz. coin. The ring setting is crafted from 14K gold. The setting is approximately 0.3 ounces and total the piece weighs 11.8 grams. It is a size 10 1/4 and is sizeable. The 14K setting has some minor scratches in the high polish surface and 1 deeper scratch where the setting tapers to the band width going around the back of the finger (see photos). The coin appears to be in fairly decent condition. I am not a coin grader by any means, so this assessment is simply a visual inspection of the parts that I can see.
