This is a stunning vintage ring that features both diamond and rubies in a unique setting. The design of the ring is almost art deco in style, with a uniqueness all its own.
The center diamond is raised and is approximately 0.07 carats. It is surrounded by a halo of beautiful natural rubies, totaling approximately 0.3 carats. The shank splits around 2 more diamonds and the fan shape contains 3 more in each side. These diamonds total approximately 0.18 carats. All together, there are approximately 1/4 carat of diamonds and just under 1/3 carat of rubies. The diamonds are very nice and eye clean. The setting is crafted from solid 14K gold and there is plenty of gold in this ring, as it weighs 5.1 grams. It is sizeable by a jeweler, if needed.
This ring is stamped 585, which is another way of marking 14K, and has a hallmark of what appears to be TLI. Upon researching, this appears to be the hallmark of Tishman & Lipp, a company founded in New York City in 1950.
This ring is perfect for those who want to wear rubies, but don’t want such a heavy red presence on their hand. It has the beautiful, pinky-red ruby color with plenty of sparkling white diamonds to help it match everything in your wardrobe.
